What is a homeopathic product?
|
While it is not possible to
go into the complexities of homeopathic medicine in full
within of this FAQ, homeopathic medicine very briefly works
by administering minute quantities of substances which are
known to cause the symptoms concerned, thereby stimulating
the body to heal itself. Basically, homeopathic medicines
encourage the body's own defense mechanisms to correct the
problem. A classic example is that of caffeine. Caffeine
generally causes insomnia, but it is used homeopathically to
treat insomnia. Minute amounts of caffeine extract, prepared
in accordance with homeopathic pharmaceutical principles are
administered to people suffering from insomnia in order to
stimulate the body to heal itself against the symptoms of
insomnia. A somewhat similar principle is used when children
are vaccinated against chickenpox, for example. Homeopathic
remedies must be used on a daily basis. After 6 months of
regular use, we recommend that the remedy be stopped during
a holiday to see whether symptoms return. If not, one can
discontinue use.

|
What is the dosage?
|
Dosage:
BrightSpark comes in very small
sucking tablets (can be chewed as well, and have a pleasant
taste) taken 2 at a time, 3 times daily. The second dosage
can be taken at 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. for those children that are
in school. Use on an empty stomach.
Caution: Avoid strong mint
flavored candies.
If necessary for kids
with ADHD (not ADD), BrightSpark can be taken together with
Focus ADHD Formula for maximum effectiveness.
|
|
|
|
How often should I take
it? |
BrightSpark MUST Be taken
three (3) times daily, every day in order to be effective.
It is very important to not miss doses. If you do miss a
dose, however, do not take "make-up" doses.
|
|
|
|
How quickly does it
take effect? |
This depends to a large
extent on the individual's physiological make-up. For MOST
children, BrightSpark will work its way up to full
effectiveness over a three to five week period. We have had
customer who have seen the benefits within a few days, but
for the most part, expect a three to five week period. For
those with ADHD who wish to see quick results, combine
BrightSpark with
Focus ADHD Formula for the first 5 weeks while
BrightSpark takes effect.
|
|
|
|
How long will I have to
take it? |
This depends on each person's
physiological make up. Because it is homeopathic,it is
possible that use of BrightSpark can permanently improve or
eradicate some of the symptoms of ADD or ADHD, and we have
seen that in some children. We recommend taking BrightSpark
in six-month treatment plans, stopping it at the end of each
six-month period for a week or two to see if the symptoms
have lessened or disappeared. If they have not, then resume
for another six months and so on. There is absolutely no
problem in taking BrightSpark forever if needed. There
are no side effects, it is not addictive and it is 100%
safe.
|
|
|
|
How long does a bottle
last? |
One bottle of BrightSpark
will last 30 days. A 9-week supply (see the Buy 2
Get 1 FREE special) would be three bottles. Because
BrightSpark can take up to five weeks to reach full effect,
we always recommend taking advantage of the special offer.

|
|

BrightSpark the right product? |
Yes - BrightSpark is the
product to use. While it can also safely be used to treat
ADHD, as a homeopathic product, there will be no adverse
effect if one only has ADD.
|
|
|
|
My child has ADHD -
will BrightSpark help? |
Yes - BrightSpark can be
effectively used for either ADHD or ADD.
|
|
|
|
Can I take it with
Focus ADHD Formula? |
The short answer is "Yes - for those with
ADHD". BrightSpark is a very effective, 100% safe
homeopathic treatment for ADHD. As a homeopathic medication,
one would take it every day including on weekends. Some
people immediately benefit from BrightSpark, while for some
it can take up to three to five weeks for full effect.
However, it is ultimately extremely effective and can be
used on its own.Since BrightSpark
can take some time to build up in the body, to get some
quicker relief from the symptoms,
Focus ADHD Formula can be used along with BrightSpark.
Use Focus for 4 - 5 weeks, then discontinue use if you so
desire, and by then BrightSpark should be at full effect.
For very bad cases of ADHD, you can safely use the two
products together on an ongoing basis.
|
|
|
|
Can I combine
BrightSpark with your other Homeopathic remedies? |
Yes - being homeopathic,
BrightSpark can be safely taken with any other medications,
including our other homeopathic ones. This is often
recommended, especially for children with anxiety issues (Kiddie
Calmer) and who have regular temper outbursts (Tantrum
Tamer).
|
|
|
|
Can I take it with
prescription ADD/ADHD medications? |
BrightSpark is perfectly safe
to take with other ADD/ADHD medications, including Strattera,
Concerta, Ritalin and Adderall. Of course, we strongly
advocate trying to get kids off these drugs, since their
extreme side effects are well-documented. However, if you
feel comfortable continuing their use but are looking to
augment and improve their results with Brightspark, this is
quite safe to do.
|
|
|
|
Should I continue to
take prescription ADD/ADHD medications? |
You can quite safely continue
to use those products. However, if you find BrightSpark is
working, you should consider slowly weaning off those other
products, since BrightSpark is much safer, has no
side effects and is non-addictive. If you feel
safer doing so, consult your doctor to help you with a
program to wean off these products.
|
|
|
|
How do I wean my child
off other ADHD/ADD medications (Adderall, Ritalin, Concerta
etc)? |
As you know, Adderall,
Ritalin and Concerta are amphetamine stimulants and if they
have been used for some time, your child will probably
experience withdrawal symptoms when he/she stops using it.
These are usually fatigue and moodiness, often with frequent
tears and low tolerance levels, which can last up to 2 or 3
weeks.
To wean off these, we
suggest:
1.Try to find the least
stressful time possible to begin to reduce the dosage. A
school vacation is often good - especially if some family
members can also take time off to support him/her while they
are coming off the drug.
2. As our BrightSpark formula
can be taken together with any of these drugs without any
adverse effects, were recommend that you begin your child on
BrightSpark a week or two before you decide to start cutting
down on the drug. Incidentally, BrightSpark is also
particularly effective with children who have difficulty
with anger and violent impulses. Some people experience an
almost immediate improvement with BrightSpark, while for
others a 3 - 5week period is needed to see significant
results. Begin taking the BrightSpark exactly as directed on
the bottle.
3. After a week or two of the
BrightSpark, halve the dosage of the prescription drug for
about a week and then give your child the reduced dosage
every second day for a further week. While all may go
smoothly, be prepared for some difficult times and try and
ensure that there is as little stress on your child during
this time as possible. At this point you can also begin
giving your child a full dosage of
Focus for ADHD, if you are combining our two remedies
(often a good idea).
4. If all goes well after
this, you can completely cut out the prescription drug and
continue with BrightSpark and Focus.
|
|
|
|
Does it have any
contraindications? |
No, there are no
contraindications for BrightSpark, and it is perfectly safe
to take with other medications, including other ADHD / ADD
medications.
|
|
|
|
Can adults take
BrightSpark? |
While BrightSpark was
specifically created for children under 12, it has been
quite successfully used by teenagers and adults.
Adults using BrightSpark should increase the dosage to 4 or
5 times daily. However, both teenagers and adults
with ADD (not ADHD) should strongly consider using
Focus ADDult instead. Focus ADDult was specifically
formulated for teenagers and adults and is very effective in
treating ADD. For those with ADHD, use
Focus ADHD Formula.
|
|
|
|
Can I take it if I am
pregnant or breastfeeding? |
Being homeopathic,
BrightSpark is quite safe for pregnant women or nursing
mothers and, in fact, would be the recommended treatment for
those with ADD/ADHD. In these cases, the dosage should be
increased to 4 or 5 times daily.
|
|
|
|
Does BrightSpark cure

This depends on each person's

What else should I take
with BrightSpark? |
BrightSpark is a very
effective, 100% safe homeopathic treatment for ADHD. As a
homeopathic medication, one would take it every day
including on weekends. Some people immediately benefit
from BrightSpark, while for some it can take up to three
to five weeks for full effect. However, it is ultimately

|
|
|
|
Does BrightSpark help
temper tantrums? |
Temper tantrums in children
with ADHD is often a bi-product of the frustration these
children experience in feeling "different" or "out of
control". Often, as BrightSpark takes effect, their
frustration decreases and so do the temper outbursts.
However, in some cases, it can be very helpful and is
quite safe to use
Tantrum Tamer along with BrightSpark to eradicate
temper tantrums in highly volatile children.
|
|
|
|
Is BrightSpark safe for
children and from what age? |
BrightSpark can quite
safely be given to children of all ages, from two years
and up. Of course, one should be very careful in
identifying a two year old child as ADHD or ADD. At that
age, this is very difficult to establish and one should be
wary about making such diagnoses. However, BrightSpark can
quite safely be taken from ages two and up.
|
|
|
|
Will it help with
sleep? |
While BrightSpark is not a
sleep aid, hyperactivity often plays a role in causing
irregular sleep patterns for people with ADHD. As
BrightSpark takes effect and reduces hyperactivity, sleep
patterns often improve. However, if you feel you need a
sleep aid for regular use, consider using
Serenite, which is a very effective aid for insomnia
and sleep problems.

|
Does BrightSpark
interfere with prescription or over-the-counter allergy
medications such as Zyrtec, Cingulair, Claritin etc? |
No, BrightSpark will not
interfere at all with allergy medications. In fact, it is
noted that most kids with ADD or ADHD have a high degree
of allergies. No one knows why, but there just is a high
correlation. BrightSpark includes ingredients that help to
reduce levels of allergies, so not only will it not
detract from prescription or OTC allergy medications, it
should help to reduce the child's tendency towards
allergies overall.
