Together one could assume they were as Adam and Eve. The wolves are the watchdogs of Thunder and represent Love and Loyalty. Kinati is the Hunter Spirit, and is that hard clap of thunder that comes in a lightning storm. Selu and her wolves are seen bringing food and nourishment home to Thunder.
