Souix Chief

EAGLES AND CROWS
" Sioux Chief - Sitting Bull "

16" x  24" double matted and framed in gunmetal
limited edition print with paper cast
edition of 250 with 25 artist proofs

The great Sioux Chief, Sitting Bull is probably one of the best known of the Plains Indian leaders. It is common knowledge how this Sioux Chief through brilliant military strategies brought the downfall of General George Armstrong Custer and the 7th Cavalry at the Battle of the Little Bighorn. Few people however are aware of the Sioux insight and humanity. The quote on this painting is as true today as it was then. "All men are the same in His sight, it is not necessary for eagles to be crows."
