THE CHIEF'S ANALYST
by John Guthrie

current price $ 6000

The Chief's Analyst is a 3-dimensional paper cast sculpture depicting the relationship between the Chief and his Medicine Man. The visions and dreams of the leaders were interpreted by the Shamans.   These visions often guided the tribe in daily life. The four horsemen painted inside the Chief's war bonnet symbolize peace, war, prosperity and defeat.

This is the Artist proof from the edition of 25. The sculptured paper is mounted on and encased in clear Plexiglas. The base is black Plexiglas. The sculpture is 20" in height and is 16" x 18". Attached to and hanging from the feathers is white horse hair.
